Fernando Cagide

Fernando Cagide graduated in Chemistry by the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) in 2002 and completed a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry in the Organic Chemistry Department of USC in 2009.

In the same year he applied to a post-doctoral grant from FCT for carrying out studies on the synthesis of antioxidants to mitochondria. New postdocs from FEDER project were obtained in 2017 focused in multi-target compound synthesis and in 2019 he obtained a researcher contract focused on the synthesis of new antibiotics.
