Lisa Sequeira

Lisa Sequeira completed the Degree and the Master’s Degree in Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, Portugal, in the years 2011 and 2013, respectively. She has been a member of the Medicinal Chemistry group in 2012 and 2013 and return in 2018. Her research work was related with the development of second generation inhibitors of catechol-O-methyltrasferase (COMT) for neurodegenerative diseases therapy.

Currently Lisa is doing her PhD at the University of Cagliari, Italy, where she is working on the development of selective carbonic anhydrase inhibitors.
