Mariana Castelôa has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 2019 and her Master’s degree in Applications in Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology in 2021, both by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. During her Master’s dissertation, she worked at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto, evaluating the pharmacological effects of bioactive compounds. In 2022, she worked with a Master Research Grant at CIQUP – Research Center in Chemistry of the University of Porto, integrated with the FCT-funded project NOXIOUS (EXPL/BIABQM/0492/2021). Currently, she is enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Chemistry at FCUP.
